Commercial Truck Insurance in New Jersey
New Jersey requires $1,500,000 combined single limit for commercial motor vehicles of 26,001 lb GVWR or more and $300,000 for 10,001–26,001 lb, for policies issued or renewed since July 1, 2024 (NJ DOBI Bulletin 24-07). Lighter vehicles need 35/70/25 from January 1, 2026.

Note that New Jersey's heavy-truck floor ($1.5M) is higher than the federal $750,000, so NJ-registered heavy trucks need the larger limit. Confirm with your agent how it applies to out-of-state or IRP-plated units.
